Essential oils for cellulite

Now it is time to focus our attention the fun stuff!   Here is a list of essential oils for getting rid of cellulite.  These are my favorite oils because they are known for detoxifying the body and promoting circulation.

Lime – Lime is purifying and helps break down cellulite.
Oregano – Oregano is an antiviral, antiseptic, diuretic and stimulant.
Juniper – Juniper is cleansing to the body tissues and is energizing.  Use less than five drops per ounce.
Grapefruit – Grapefruit is purifying, balances body fluids, and improves circulation.
Lemon – Lemon is purifying and helps break down cellulite.  Lemon can cause skin irritations, please use less than five drops per ounce.
Cedarwood – Cedarwood is calming and relaxing.  It moisturizes the skin and is wonderful for stretch marks. Use less than 5 drops per ounce
Fennel – Fennel is an antiseptic, circulatory stimulant, and diuretic
Cypress – Cypress helps reduce cellulite and body inflammation.
Thyme – Thyme improves circulation and is purifying.  It can support the body in  removing toxins and excess fluids in tissues.  Use less than five drops per ounce and avoid using it if prone to epileptic seizures.
Rosemary – Rosemary improves circulation and stimulates the metabolism.  It also removes lymphatic and cellulite deposits from the body.
Sage – Sage improves circulation.  It also assists in removing waste material and excess fluid from the body. Avoid using it if prone to epileptic seizures.
Basil – Basil is a blood purifier.  This essential oil is wonderful for reducing stress and excellent for calming.
Patchouli – Patchouli is a stimulant and an appetite suppressant.  It is balancing for all skin types.
Ginger – Ginger is an all over body tonic.  It is warming, energetic, and improves overall circulation.
Carrot Seed – Carrot seed is my go to oil for getting rid of cellulite.  It i an astringent and a diuretic.  It is also a powerful detoxifier and promotes skin elasticity.
Remember, essential oils are potent chemicals.  Please use proper dosage levels especially oils that are dermal irritants.
